Press Releases

Our staff have all been on the receiving end of press releases which go straight into the bin or on to the spike. We know what the news, features and sports editors of newspapers, radio and television want.

By maintaining strong links with national and local media, we know how to target releases and get them used. If we don't think there is anything newsworthy in what clients want to say, we tell them so. We then try to find the angles that make a topic newsworthy.

But writing a release, and having it approved by the client, isn’t the end of the matter as far as we are concerned. Not only do we send releases to named people at appropriate media, but we ensure that they have been received. We then check that they have been used and organise for clients to receive copies or tapes.
